Clay Youth Football League
This site is dedicated to the Clay Youth Football League in Brazil, Indiana. The league is dedicated to teaching all players the fundamentals of football. Not only will players learn skills used on a football field, they will be taught valuable life skills such as discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. The CYFL is not limited to players from Clay County; it also includes players from Parke, Putnam, Vigo, and Vermilion Counties. We encourage all youths in Kindergarten through sixth grade to come out and play football. All players who sign-up will start and play offense or defense every game. There are no "bench-warmers" or reserves.
There are three groups within the league. The Pee Wee League includes players in the grades of K and 1. The CYFL is the only league we know of in our area that offers full contact 11-man football for players of this age-group. We feel that this is important since teaching proper blocking and tackling techniques at a younger age will help increase safety and success in their future with football. It is easier to learn these tecniques at this age rather than when their opponents are bigger, faster, and stronger. The teams in the Pee Wee League include the Titans, Panthers, Falcons, Cowboys, Steelers, and Raiders. The Jr. League is composed of players in grades 2, 3, and 4. The teams in this league include the Bills, Broncos, Boilers, Chargers, Eagles, and Lions. The Sr. League is composed of players in grades 5 and 6. The teams include the Knights, Firebirds, Colts, Red Devils, and Bears.

***Sign-up Dates have been set. The dates are July 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, and 25. As always Fridays are from 5:30pm to 7:30pm and Saturdays are from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
