Sr. League

The Sr. League is made up of players in grades 5 and 6.  Players cannot be 13 before June 1st of current year. 

The league uses mostly standard ISHAA rules for game-play.  The only differences are: 
    

  • All players must play either offense or defense during the 4 quarters of the game except on 4th downs and inside the 5yd line.
  • Point-after attemps are done with no rush when kicking.  If the ball is kicked through the uprights and over the crossbar, the attempt is worth two points.  If the kick is between the uprights but below the crossbar, the kick is worth only one point. 
  • Punts are rushed by DL.  
  • The defense must have at least three players 5 yards off the ball.  
  • All defensive players closer than 5 yards from the ball must be in a three or four-point stance if they are inside of the offensive tackles.
  • Two coaches are allowed on the field for each team. 

 

 Practices for the Senior League will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.  All players are expected to be at every practice during the week.  If a player is going to miss practice or a game, it is the responsibility of the parent to notify the coach.  When players miss practice, the whole team suffers.  Coaches may, at their discretion, limit a player's playing time by 1/2 for each practice missed.  Coaches may also limit playing time due to disciplinary action.
